ADSS Strengthens Board of Trustees With New Appointments

ADSS is delighted to announce four new trustees that have been appointed to join our Board of Trustees: Shubham Sarvaiya, Laura Grigerova, Sharmila Whelan and Mandeep Sahota.

Shubham Sarvaiya

Shubham is a strategy and operations professional with over 7 years’ of experience working with SaaS startups, consulting firms, and large enterprises across India, the United Kingdom, and Southeast Asia. His expertise lies in driving commercial growth, shaping GTM strategies, and defining a company’s long-term strategy. Throughout his career, he led cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects that generated a $5-100 million business impact for his companies. He holds a Bachelor’s in Technology from NIT Raipur and a Master’s in Business Administration from IIM Calcutta.

Laura Grigerova

 

 

 

 

 

Laura has over 14 years’ of B2B and B2C experience as Head of Marketing in AI-based digital and mental health technologies. She has held international roles in the US, UK, and Europe, spanning go-to-market strategies, product marketing and technology transformation. Laura’s interest in gut health and mental health and their impact on people’s well-being led her to work with Age UK Camden to improve the lives of people with dementia. Laura runs a gut health coach practice and e-commerce platform, Lauriger. She uses practical knowledge in naturopathic medicine and digital technologies to transform people’s health and promote well-being.

Sharmila Whelan

Sharmila is a macro investment strategist with 30 years’ experience advising institutional investors and companies on risk management, investments strategies and business development. She has lived and worked in India, across Asia, Africa, had the privilege of advising governments and working across cultures with senior leadership. Prior to founding Westbourne Research, she worked in the City of London, BP Plc, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Credit Lyonnaise Securities Ltd. Having volunteered with charities across the world and experienced the challenges of dementia and Alzheimer’s first hand, Sharmila is keen to leverage her business development and finance and strategy expertise to benefit the Board and support the growth of the charity.

Mandeep Sahota

Mandeep is the Founder and the Principal Solicitor of Masons Solicitors, with over 12 years’ legal experience. Mandeep has a demonstrated history of working in the law practice industry. Skilled in Preparation of Wills, Document Drafting, Criminal Law, Probate Law, and Wills. She is confident that she can bring this level of success with her to help Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services, build upon their reputation and achieve their goals. With her previous experience and expertise, she believes her contribution will have an immediate impact on the charity.
